I first joined this class in the second week because I had just added this
module. I was assigned to join Group 3 because one of the members had
dropped the module. From what I discovered. We are to develop an art
direction for a brand that was created by the business school students.
RESEARCH
First things first, I find out what product we will create the art direction
for. So, I opened the Google Drive link that was provided. I
read thoroughly in the project brief and the product is oat ice cream
with the brand name "Oatlicious". Then I discovered that this brand was
created by students from Bachelor of Business (Hons) International Business
and Marketing students from Team 3, which consists of 5 members.

These are small research that I did about oat ice cream.

What is oat ice cream?
Oat milk Ice cream is a frozen treat that doesn't contain dairy and is made from oat milk, sugar, and fat like coconut oil. Contrary to other plant-based ice creams like almond or cashew milk ice cream, the majority of oat milk ice cream recipes are nut-free. (The brand of oat milk may also determine whether it is gluten-free.)

Is oat ice cream good for you?
If consuming whole foods is your priority (which it should be) and you can eat non-vegan, dairy-rich foods, then good quality dairy ice cream is the healthier option. It will be more satisfying and will keep you fuller for longer.
Additionally, Oatly ice cream is more calorific (218 calories per 100g) than high-quality dairy ice cream (about 204 calories per 100g), despite the absence of high-calorie ingredients like whipped cream and whole milk. The increased oil content in the Oatly variant is probably to blame for the rise in calories.

Are there negatives to oat milk?
Gas and bloating are potential negative effects of oat milk. Additionally, it could interfere with diabetes drugs and lead to dangerously low blood sugar levels.

I also looked at my group's MIRO Board, and I saw one board containing
information about the competitors.

Another thing that I looked at was the empathy map made by my group members. I didn't participate in making the empathy map so I just tried to understand it so I could help work on the problem statement.

PROCESS
Week 2
After the first meeting I attended in week 2, we made an
appointment to meet online on Wednesday night. We chose to
meet using Zoom but then our meeting got cut off. So, I
decided to ask if the other group member wanted to make a
Discord server and they said yes, so I made the Discord
server and we continued our meeting there. During the
meeting, we discussed to complete and finalize the problem
statement. I gave the idea by writing the problem statement
as follows.

Then after each person gave an idea, we distributed tasks to
do our next work. Someone will finalize the problem
statement, then someone will make a presentation and someone
will make survey questions. We decided to create a survey to
support our problem statement later.
I chose to contribute to creating a survey question. Veyhan suggested that we only make 10 questions so that respondents don't get bored when answering the questions. We chose Google Forms as our platform to conduct the survey.

After completing the survey questions, we target each member to get 10 respondents in order to reach the target number we want to achieve. Then we start sharing the survey link and wait until Sunday to conclude.
Later on Sunday night, we met online again on Discord to discuss and continue group assignments. We divide the task to include the results of the work into the presentation. There are two documents that we have to work on. The first is what we are working on which is the presentation slide. The second is a project document in slide form. I volunteered to make the presentation. We chose Canva as the platform to design the presentation.

But since Caelan did not show up in the presentation day, Veyhan covered his part.
Week 3In week 3, we made a presentation for our task 1 in front of business school students. And after we received feedback, we decided to meet online again on Wednesday evening. Before the meeting, each of us was asked to look for references for the mood board and art direction. During the meeting, we added to our references.

After all our references were collected, we decided to vote on the styles we liked. Each of us can put a star sign with our name and put it on the image of the reference that we like. As a result, we chose the style we wanted with the most votes.

After we finished deciding on the style we wanted, we chose the part of the job we wanted. There is a list of work that we will do and we can add our names according to the quota that has been assigned to each section

The next course of action that we have to do is prepare a sketch according to the part we chose and insert it into the MIRO board to be presented later during the tutorial class. Me and Kim are doing the website design. We list down all the contents that will be put on the website.

Initially, me and Kim discussed sketching with our own parts, but then Jia Yee suggested each of us can sketch and then we can compare each other designs. Later we can choose to pick or combine the design.

FEEDBACK
Week 2
- We need to add more personas which are more suitable for our targeted audience because of the current personas are more skewed towards the older audience
- The current progression of our problem statement seemed okay, we can continue to finalize the problem statement
- Can continue our progression for task 1
Week 3
- The sequence of our slides should be more organized
- For the competitor part can be shorter (summarized)
- Good summary for the survey
- The information for the gains and pains is the same as shown in the slide
- The empathy map can be more organized

REFLECTIONS
Experience
I took this module again after dropping it last semester. Initially I wanted to group with my friends and get approval. I am very happy to be working with my friend. But unfortunately someone from another group had dropped the module so I had to fill in for him. When I heard the news that I had to say goodbye to my friend, I was very disappointed. However, this module is about collaboration and I must be ready to collaborate with anyone. I was initially very worried that I would be working with people I didn't know. It definitely feels different working with your own friends and with new people. However, the members of my current group are very welcoming and I feel relieved. I try to make the best contribution to my group. I got a new experience working with them. This module feels like the Minor Project module that I took last semester. We had to create branding for products made by students from the business school. In my opinion, the product will be interesting for branding. I am looking forward to working on this project.
Observation
I observe that each of my group members has different specializations and abilities. This makes me think more broadly because I get different views from my group members. I also observe that, communication is one of the keys to success. Without communication, miscommunication can occur and can be detrimental to the group.
Findings
I found that I need to be able to communicate more with my group members. I have to be braver in expressing my opinion. I also found that working with new people would give me benefits. I learned how to adapt to new people. I thought I wouldn't be able to work and communicate well, but apparently I was wrong. My group member is very open and they are each willing to give their ideas and accept ideas from others.
