TASK
Instructions
Final Project – Completed Experience – 30 %
Students will synthesise the knowledge gained in task 1, 2 and 3 for application in task 4. Students will create integrate visual asset and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience.
E-Portfolio - 10 %
Students describe and reflect on their social competencies within the design studio context, supported by evidence. Reflect on how to empathize with others within group settings, interact positively within a team and foster stable and harmonious relationships for productive teamwork. The reflective writing is part of the TGCP.
Progression
So for the final project, I started from completing the incomplete application design. I added some elements to make the application more colorful and appealing for the target user, namely children. As I said earlier in task 3, I will add pages for details, normal quiz and 3D quiz.
I also added the loading screen and make the app icon.
And this the whole app design in Figma.
After finishing designing the app design, I move to Unity. I added the other pages and make the button onclick function to change each pages. I use canvas for each pages. As you can see here, I make the rest of the pages inactive, because I use the button function to make the canvas active and inactive when clicked.
This is the improved Home page that I made.
And then I want to talk about the previous error about the ground plane thingy. So I asked Sir Razif to help me fix this problem and he asked me to zip my Unity file and send it to him. In result, he provided me a video about how to fix the problem :D. So on the Plane Stage, I need to add a new list on the Content Placed and drag the Plane stage to it then make it inactive. Not forgetting that we need to uncheck the duplicate stage to make the 3D model not duplicate when we click the ground.
Then Sir Razif suggested me to just create a button that will make the scene reload(restart). So the button will show when you managed to find the monkey.
As you can see there, I created a script that when the button is clicked the scene will restart. So initially, I combined all the canvas in one scene, but then with this solution, I need to separate the login page and the home page so that when I clicked the button, it will restart the home page scene instead of the login page.
This is the script to restart the scene.
Then for the 3D Quiz, I made only one question about what the monkeys eat. If the user answers the wrong answer, the Monkey will play a sad monkey and when the user manages to answer correctly, there will be a pop-out and confetti falling and also the animation of the Monkey happy. Same goes with the normal quiz.
Then after finishing working on the app, I borrowed my friends phone (android) to export the application. Also we need to add the scene that we will use on the application. This is the screenshoot of the build settings before we build and run (export) to the phone.
And this is just a photo of when I export the app.
Below is the video walkthrough the app.

REFLECTIONS
Finally the final task of experiential design. I was happy to work on this project. Initially, I was a little afraid that I wouldn't be able to do it, but it turned out that doing it was even easier than doing app design and game development. I'm happy with what I've been working on. I found it very helpful with what Sir Razif had taught me in class and also the feedback from him. Even though one thing or another happened, I was still happy with what I had done. So I am very grateful to my friend who was willing to lend me his cellphone and camera so that I could do this task and also to Sir Razif who has been willing to teach and provide assistance so that I can do this task.
