Task 3 : Creative Experience Design Project Prototype
TASK
Instructions
The prototype will enable the students to discover certain limitations that they might have not learnt about before and they’ll have to creatively think on how to overcome the limitation to materialize their proposed ideas. The objective of this task is for the students to test out the key functionality of their project. The output may not necessarily be a finished visually designed project. The students will be gauge on their prototype functionality and their ability to creatively think on alternatives to achieve the desired outcome.
Progression
For the prototype, I started by working on the application design first. Because it's still a prototype I only work on a few important pages, such as the login screen then the page to scan because that is the main feature of my application.
The first feature that I want to point out is when a card is scanned, a 3D model of a monkey will show.
And then there is this feature called "feed". It is to let user know what food do monkeys like?
For example, when you click the banana, the monkey eyes will turn into happy eyes because monkeys like banana.
Then if you click leaf, the monkey eyes will turn into sad eyes because monkeys don't eat leaves.

Lastly, the feature that I want to show is the "explore". This feature will ask the user to scan the ground and place the 3D model. Then the user will have to find the Monkey, basically like the hide n seek. When the user finds the Monkey, the Monkey will play the animation of dying and there will be notification "you found the monkey" but for this prototype, I will just use the debug.
But there is an error on this prototype, so when you click the Monkey, the animation will play. But in this prototype, when you click the Monkey it won't play the animation but instead, it will spawn the 3D model where you click it. The animation will play when you intentionally break the 3D model to make it stuck somewhere.
For the future, there will be other pages that I will add such as the home screen. Other features are details, normal quiz and 3D quiz.
REFLECTIONS

The animation will play when you intentionally break the 3D model to make it stuck somewhere.
REFLECTIONS
For this task, I am confused about how to do it. I think I will have a hard time and it will take a long time. But it turns out that based on what we have learned in class, it is not that difficult. Mostly I use button onclick logic to make the app work. I'm glad the app prototype shows important features despite errors. But I'm sure when I work on the final project, I can improve it.
