INSTRUCTIONS

Project 2 : Data Collection

For project 2, we were asked to do data collection. During our first discussion we decided to distribute the questionnaire with Google Forms. Here, Syahnaz and I help make questions and prepare the Google Form. Then after we made some questions we confirmed the questions back to our leader. And after checking, we started distributing the form with a goal of 80 respondents. Kenisha and Angelyn are tasked with making conclusions from the results of the questionnaire. Wendy and Wiceline will be responsible for making product designs for project 3. And these are the questions for our questionnaire and its results.

And after conducting further discussions, our leader felt that distributing questionnaires for data collection was not enough. So to add to the method, we conducted a case study and online interview. For the case study method, we researched an online exhibition on a website called Karya Kreatif Indonesia. And this is the link for the website.

And for the third method, we decided to conduct an interview with a Batik shop owner in Indonesia, Uzbatik. The owner is named Kuswati and comes from Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia.

This is the result of our data collection. There are a total of 3 methods, namely, questionnaires, case studies and interviews.

REFLECTIONS

For this 2nd project I learned a lot of new things. I learned that there are many methods we can use to collect data. I also finally learned how to make a questionnaire for quite a large number of respondents. In addition, I also learned some new things to do case studies and interviews. And again for this second project, I thank Miss Jinchi and also other group members who have been willing to help in completing this second project.
