INSTRUCTIONS

Project 1 : Proposal

For intercultural projects, we initially wanted to choose a Batik or Wayang theme. But after discussing we decided to choose Batik. Our first meeting was held on a hybrid basis. Because our leader, Wendy is still in Indonesia. We briefly discussed culture and discussed some of the plans for the future.

And for the next meeting, Wendy and Wiceline gave the most ideas. Here I also feel that I have not contributed much because I also feel that I do not quite understand what will be done. So I'm really grateful that Wendy and Wiceline can help us provide direction.

For this project 1 our leader gave us several choices of topics to research and we chose each of them. I got a section on batik techniques. We are also divided to make sketches of products that can be applied to batik. We incorporate the results of our research into Google Docs and into presentations.

FEEDBACKS

Week 1-2 :
Miss Jinchi told us to come up with a concept and she also asked us to do some research on the topic we chose. Miss Jinchi told what kind of concept was needed.

Week 3 : 
Miss Jinchi told us that our ideas were not creative and innovative enough. Miss Jinchi said that we could try to develop our ideas into anti-mainstream or unique ones to attract buyers' attention.

REFLECTIONS

For this project 1, I feel that I have not yet adapted to the given task. I also feel that I have not been able to make a good contribution to the group. I am very grateful to the other group members and also to Miss Jinchi for being willing to help for this 1st project.
