INSTRUCTIONS
Sketches and Progress
Firstly, I looked up for proper color palette and I wrote down some elements that I want to put. Then I also put the typefaces that I will be using for this task.
I started to sketch using Adobe Photoshop. The first sketch that I made was inspired by Batman. He has those bat wings and I decided to put it beside the text. But I decided not to explore it more because I was interested to make another sketch.
The next sketch that I made was in color. The idea was using some of the elements that I wrote. As you can see there are bats, a witch riding a broom, a pumpkin, spiders hanging and spider web. But then Mr. Vinod said that we have to minimalize the usage of graphical elements on our design. The text should be at least 70% dominating the design.

And then for the digitalization, I used Adobe Illustrator. I started by
adding the text "Happy Halloween". For the first trial, I chose Gill
Sans Std Ultra Bold as the typeface. Then I started experimenting.
Firstly I added the spike effect under the text to create some kind of
creepy vibe. Then I started to see the letter 'O' quite similar to a
ghost. I made 6 version of my first trial of digitalization. And I ended
up choosing the
And then after that I added one alternative design. I chose Merry Christmas.

Mr. Vinod said it was good but my design is to dependent to the
graphical element. So, I decided to change the design a little bit. I
added lights as it is in the christmas tree.

FEEDBACKS
Week 11 :
General Feedback : Maximize
the space, try to use the space as mush as you can. Make sure
that your design contains at least 70% text. Make sure the text
is readable.
Specific Feedback : Minimalize the usage of graphical element on your design.
Week 12 :
Specific Feedback : My design is to dependent to the graphical element.

REFLECTIONS
Experience :
This task is very fun, I get to design a sticker and animate it. At first I chose the Happy Halloween one but then I chose to use Merry Christmas. Mr. Vinod is very clear when he gave us feedbacks and it was helpful.

Observations :
I observed that graphical element can really affect our design. Colors, size and space play important role to our design
Findings :
I find that it is easier for me to do research on Pinterest than the Google and I find it easier to pick color when I used the Adobe Color website.

I read about the OpenType Overview, and this is what I got:
- OpenType is a font format developed jointly by Microsoft and Adobe as an extension of Apple’s TrueType font format.
- In 1997, the OpenType 1.0 font specification was released.
- OpenType provides several advantages over older font technologies:
- Larger glyph limit (64k)
- Cross-platform support (Win and Mac)
- Support for both PostScript Type 1 or TrueType outlines
- Support for advanced typographic features
- OpenType, like TrueType, is based on Unicode, the system for encoding all of the world's writing systems. OpenType fonts can potentially contain thousands of characters. This means that OpenType fonts can contain multiple letters (such as Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic; or kanji, kana, and romaji for Japanese usage).
